Assistantships
Agribusiness Graduate Research Assistantships
Agribusiness Assistantship Awards are reserved annually for qualified, full-time students. The assistantship pays a ten month stipend (August - May) in return for 20 hours of work on an assigned project relevant to the Agribusiness program at the University of Nebraska.
In addition to the stipend, tuition is waived for up to 12 hours during the fall and spring semesters, and up to 6 hours during the summer session. Students are also eligible for health insurance coverage at no cost through the University Health plan. Dependents may also be insured, at an additional cost.
Assistantships are awarded based upon the application materials submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies, CBA Graduate Advising, and the Agribusiness Assistantship Essay Application. Some of the factors considered when awarding assistantships are an applicant's undergraduate GPA, GMAT score, and career goals.
